Over the years, I have been a regular patron of this restaurant. However, my recent experience was quite disappointing. Firstly, the menus had smeared what appeared to be milk, and the odor was unappetizing. Additionally, the cups used for serving coffee emitted an unpleasant odor reminiscent of rotten eggs, suggesting inadequate cleaning. Despite all that the food I must acknowledge was tasty. Nevertheless, I am deeply disappointed and will not be returning to this establishment.
Came in today 10/22/25 like I do every week. Placed a pick up order over the phone. Was met by two servers who I’ve never seen before . Being as I PICKED MY ORDER UP I didn’t leave a big tip , but if I sit down inside and order, I always tip generously. Well today After I tipped and handed back the receipt, The two women looked at each other and started insulting me in Spanish. As if my tip wasn’t “good enough “. With all due respect, all you did was hand me a bag from the kitchen. I don’t know how you could be entitled to expect a big tip from that. I understand there’s a lot of entitlement for women servers in 2025, but this was blatant disrespect, They didn’t know that I understand Spanish. Pure ignorance. As someone who comes in once a week, I’m definitely not coming back. I don’t play that racist insulting BS. I understand that it’s BERWYN and many of the residence Here have never left the area in their lives and all they know is BERWYN, But in the real world, you don’t act entitled to receive tips for work you didn’t do. If you don’t like it, get a different job it’s that simple. Definitely not coming back here. There’s way too many restaurants that don’t have female server entitlement That would be happy to take my money. No mas . 👎
I have been going here for years. The food is great, large portions and amazing prices
